Like to Scrapbook?

Any scrapbookers out there? Well, if you love to scrapbook you will be so jealous of how I spent last weekend! I spent Friday-Sunday at a Scrapbook Bed and Breakfast! Can you believe it!? They have a room full of stations where you set up camp for the weekend and scrapbook away! The owner cooks delicious meals for you and has a 24hr dessert bar! I stayed up til 3:30am Friday night and til 3am Saturday night! BUT I got my whole wedding weekend finished! It was a blast and have plans to return in August... I recruited another friend and mom! Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo

My mom and her friend Ruth come to Fort Worth every January for the opening weekend of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. We had a blast while they were here! It was non-stop action-packed fun!

Jordan and I made the 11 hour drive to Tennessee for Christmas. We had a wonderful FIRST MARRIED Christmas! I am just loving married life! Jordan got me one of those navigation systems---because I NEVER get lost--HA! I am also sporting 3 new pairs of TOMS shoes that I wear with pride. (If you don't know about TOMS, look them up- http://tomsshoes.com/. Jordan's cousin started the company. For every pair sold a child in need gets a pair of shoes. Amazing.) Also went and saw the movie Charile Wilson's War. Got me fired up, once again, about the impact ONE person can have on changing the world. I am still looking and praying for how God can use me to make a difference. Some days I want to drop everything and join the Peace Corps (with Jordan in tow). Who knows, maybe one day I will. On Oct. 17 at 11pm, after a very long and difficult labor, Jordan and I became an uncle and an aunt to sweet Miss Haley Beth!!!! She was born at Camp Lejuene in North Carolina. The coolest part of the whole trip was that I got to go pick her daddy up 3 days after she was born from his return from IRAQ!!!! THEN I got to take him to the hospital to meet his baby and see his wifey Ashley! The whole experience was beyond words. If you know me well, you know I am extrememly sensitive to the armed forces, and I was bawling when all those boys got of the Greyhound buses to see their families! I videoed the whole thing so that Haley Beth can watch it one day and see her daddy coming home to meet her! A BIG OORAH!! to all those Marines out there!

Our Sweet Baby Sophie!!!

This is our beautiful and adorable daughter! She is the best dog EVER! She is a bullmastiff weighing in at 100lbs. However, she thinks she is a lap dog and loves nothing more than snuggling! She makes me smile constantly...she's the best!
