Baby Books and Women of Faith

1. Does anyone have a baby memory book to recommend? Should I wait to buy one until I know boy or girl? I just can't wait to start filling it out, but can't find one that I LOVE.

Pregnancy Update

I finally had my first doctor's appointment last week! I LOVE my doctor and the ultrasound was AMAZING! Everything looks great so far and they moved my due date up a week to Nov. 5! The heart rate was 162, which my sis and friend Carrie swear that to be a girl. Otherwise, everyone else thinks it's boy. I don't really have a feeling one way or the other yet.

In case you haven't heard my cool story, I'll retell it. My dear teacher friend Che came to me in December right before Christmas break and said she needed to talk to me. I knew that she had special "connections" with a few people so immediately I got nervous! She pulls me to the side and starts crying and my heart sank. The only thing I could say was, "Is it bad?!" She shakes her head no and says I just have to let you know that you are going to be getting pregnant soon. It has been heavy on my heart and I had to tell you. I hope you are okay with that. Of course I started screaming and freaking out! Well I was preggo at beginning of February! It still gives me chills to think about it! Isn't that amazing!

I have been feeling pretty good. Not as much nausea as I had a few weeks ago (have yet to vomit!), although I do gag a lot. We can't wait to find out what it is! Our camera is broken, but we are going to get it fixed and I will post pics. Nothing to see yet (I'm 9 1/2 weeks), but have already put on several pounds! I am going to try to do better this month! : )

Oh- and I cannot forget sweet Jordan! He is the best daddy ever already! He is asking me all the time if I need a snack (he read to ask that in some book!) and always making sure I am comfortable and happy. He's the best! We couldn't be happier!

I'm Pregnant!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am just beyond excited!!!! We just found out last week and can't contain ourselves! I am due Nov. 12! We couldn't be happier! Please pray for a healthy Baby Mycoskie! WA-HOOO!!!! More details soon, but as for now I am on my way out the door to go buy pregnancy books!

Any scrapbookers out there? Well, if you love to scrapbook you will be so jealous of how I spent last weekend! I spent Friday-Sunday at a Scrapbook Bed and Breakfast! Can you believe it!? They have a room full of stations where you set up camp for the weekend and scrapbook away! The owner cooks delicious meals for you and has a 24hr dessert bar! I stayed up til 3:30am Friday night and til 3am Saturday night! BUT I got my whole wedding weekend finished! It was a blast and have plans to return in August... I recruited another friend and mom!
