Haley and Colt

Just wanted to add some new pics! Love to all!

Colt is 3 months!

Look at that sweet belly!

Is it just me or is there anyone else who can't listen to "You're Gonna Miss This" by Trace Adkins without boo-hooing!!?? I know that song has been out for quite awhile but I still lose it every time! I already miss being with Colt last week!!! I just can't kiss him, or hug him, or squeeze him enough. I just pulled out his 3-6month clothes and put them in the wash. I can't believe it! Every new stage is so fun. I love his smiles now and his squeals. He is the best thing in the whole world. I love you Colty!

Fun in Fort Worth

Well Colt is now 3 months old! I can hardly believe it. I have so much fun with him everyday...I can't imagine life without him. He is so sweet and snuggly. He now smiles and coos constantly. We did have my camera working when hooked up to the computer, but tonight it is not working for some reason...so more pics will be coming soon.

I am beyond thrilled that I am almost done with getting my Master's in Educational Administration. I have one more class left after the one I am in now. And I have to type up all my internship hours, but the end is in sight and it feels darn GOOD!!!! I officially graduate May 13th or maybe it's the 15th?? Anyway, it's soon! Can I get an AMEN!?!

Colt and I start Gymboree class Wednesday and I am pumped! I think that will be so adorable and fun for us. Something to get us out of the house. Jordan started his new job with Martin Sprocket and Gear. He is in the Executive Training Program. He really enjoys it and is a lot happier. Colt and I bring him lunch every Tuesday and we eat together in the parking lot in my backseat (he only has 30 min). Just making memories and having fun doing it! Starting in February I am going to be the math TAKS tutor at my school for about 8 weeks until THE test. It's only 2 days a week for 3 hours each day. Sally, Jordan's mom, is babysitting for us. I am looking forward to getting out and seeing my friends again, but will miss my little guy while I'm out.

I am getting excited about my trip to Tennessee! Colt and I will be coming in February, and I hope he gets to meet a lot of my friends! Colt gets a whole week of Grammy and Pops! We are going to have so much fun!

Have a great week everyone!

Sweet, Sweet Baby

I am so blessed this year. Colt is the greatest gift I could ever ask for. Since he was born I have a new perspective on my love for Christ. Now I am not only ever so grateful for Jesus saving me and forgiving me, but it is overwhelming to know that Jesus also died for my baby and will forgive and love my baby for the rest of his life. GOD IS SOOOO GOOD. There is nothing more that I could ask of Colt but to build a relationship with his Savior and live his life to reflect His amazing love.

Daddy and Colt are both studs!

Attempting a family pic
Colt LOVES his playmat. He just coos and smiles...and those legs and arms go 90 miles a minute!
He is also a fan of bath time. It is one of my favorite things too! It's bath, then massage on lotion, then read a story, then off to bed. It's so sweet.

2 Months

Boy does time fly when you're having fun! Colt is growing so fast...we are trying to cherish every minute because it is going so fast already! It was a hoot at his 2 month check up when the nurse put him on the scale. She asked me what he weighed when he was born...6 lbs. Then his weight popped up in the screen....13lbs 10oz! Whoa!! She smiled and said, "Well we begin to worry when they haven't doubled their weight by 6 months. We certainly don't have to worry about him!" When you breastfeed you wonder if your little guy is getting what he needs, and Colt is for sure and then some! My sweet little chunk!

Stats:
weight: 13 lbs 10 oz (95th percentile-wow)
height: 21.5 in (50th percentile)
head: don't have it with me, can't remember (50th percentile)

The Best Christmas EVER!

The Mycoskie Family

We had such a great holiday due to our sweet new addition. My mom, dad, granny, papa, and sister all drove in to Fort Worth for Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve with the whole extended Mycoskie family, Christmas lunch with my side of the family, and Christmas night with Jordan's folks and sister. It was fun to be home Christmas morning at our own house for Jordan and I to open presents together and have our own little Christmas. I can't wait until Colt is excited for Santa to come.
